How much to pay for search engine optimization?

Many of you probably receive emails or calls from people who are offering services that promise a higher ranking on Google. This usually sounds very promising, although many of those services are extremely pricey and they rarely keep their promises.

If you consider talking to them, here is what you need to be aware of:

Are they talking about the paid Google Adwords program or optimizing your site for the organic non paid search?

Ask them for references, at least 5 websites as examples

Do a search for those websites yourself: do not use the keywords and phrases they suggest, use your common sense asking yourself: “What would I look for?”

How long, over what period of time will the optimization happen?

Search engine optimization requires

Analysis of what words people are typing into search engines in relation to the client’ s offered products and services– evaluation of the most important words and phrases

Analysis of the competitors and the words they are using

In-depth optimization and coding related to the results of the queries mentioned above

Link building inside the site

Link building outside the site

AWebsiteForLawyers.com uses all of the methods mentioned above, our clients receive updated information about visitor traffic and their website’s listing.

In the last year, our average charge for optimization was below $500. All of the clients we provided this service for were found on Google’s first page for at least two different search terms.

So if you consider having your site optimized – please call us first.

When the economy is spinning downwards it is essential to review your expenses and save on various services.
Many business owners have no idea about reasonable pricing in the online business. Let me give you some hints on where to start and what to expect.

Take a moment to examine your website, marketing and hosting services:

How much did you pay per lead in the last year?

Where did you get them?

What did your service provider do to increase your business?

How much did you pay for hosting (hopefully not more than $200/year)?

Do you know the terms and expiration/renewal date of your contract?

At AWebsiteForLawyers.com we are proud to provide you with the best prices in the industry. Many of our clients paid less than $1000 for their website – still most of them were listed under the first 60 entries on Google’s search engine results within a few weeks. Some of them paid off their investment within the first month.

Q: Why create a website for your law firm now in low economic times?

A: Although our new websites are listed very high on Google compared with other new websites, it can take half a year until Google ‘trusts’ a new domain: after that time your website will be listed even higher. ‘Page Ranks’, Google’s ranking of a website’s importance, is usually not assigned before 90 days after indexing it. So if you want to be prepared for the better times that will come for sure, now is the time to start.

According to several sources, the new administration is already working on an immigration reform. We expect a new law to be signed by the end of this year. Immigration Lawyers without a web presence will have a far smaller chance to welcome new clients.
